Mid-Atlantic USATF Trail Series – contact our Team Coordinator for details including carpool plans. Coach Jim Fischer has been leading Tuesday Night Track Workouts for over 35 years, donating his time to the Delaware running community. Year-round sessions are open to any interested adult runner. Fall/Winter 2022 notes from Coach: I hope I have covered everything. This is a time of endurance building, building volume more than intensity. For some of you are looking to improve but have been stuck at 5000m of intensity for a while, it might be the time to maintain low intensity, cut recovery time, and increase the number of meters in your workout. It’s just a thought. This is not an official PCVRC event and any area runners are welcome. St. Mark’s HS Track: 2501 Pike Creek Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, USA Group Run starts 6:00pm each Thursday at start/finish line at Delcastle Recreation Area path. 1 or 2 or more laps of the 1.75 mile lighted path around the park. All paces. Group size ranges from a few to as many as 10. Meet at the exercise area near the northern (Tennis parking) entrance to park. We start together and gradually break into groups by pace, so you won’t be alone. Run starts promptly at 6pm and people often gather upon completion. Club membership not necessary and no RSVP needed. All seasons, every week unless severe weather! Optional dinner to follow at Ruby Tuesday, Pike Creek or another local restaurant. Group Run starts 8:00am each Sunday in parking lot behind Brew Ha!
