McCorq’s Fun Run Recap
Substitute McCorq’s Fun Run went well! I’m very appreciative that Ray Christensen stepped up to host a fun run at Delcastle to substitute for the McCorq’s event. There were about 25 people in attendance and a good number of them brought salads or desserts. Pizza, beer, water or sodas, and random prizes were enjoyed by all. Unfortunately, no one took up John Schultz on his challenge to race a 100 yard sprint, so he apparently remains the club champion until he’s dethroned.
Next year will see the resumption of McCorq’s Fun Run with the highly likely possibility that it will occur a week or so earlier than the traditional Thursday before Labor Day.
