7/17/12: Becky’s B-day, Double Trouble age scores

Becky Yencharis’ 95th birthday
Becky Yencharis’ 95th birthday celebration will be at the House of William and Merry, 1336 Old Lancaster Pike, Hockessin at 6:30, Friday, July 20th (Becky’s BD). Merry (part of the namesake of the restaurant) is the daughter of Noel Reylea, a good runner of an earlier generation, who held the women’s 45-49 marathon state record from 1991 to 2007. Call Ralph at 652-0532 if you wish to attend dinner. Feel free to just stop by for a drink and to wish Becky at happy 95th.

Annual Pike Creek Summer BBQ
2012-07-21 Saturday, July 21 3pm
Location: White Clay Creek Park – Carpenter Pavilion

It’s that time of year again for summer fun and the annual pcvrc summer picnic. As always the club will provide the beer, hotdogs and hamburgers. All we ask of you is to bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share.

With the different location and larger space the club would like to invite you to bring your softball gloves, frisbees or kickball to participate in some friendly club competition.
We hope to see new members. Bring the family!
