New Newsletter Editor
Greetings from your new newsletter editor, Mark DeNio! I hope to fill the shoes of David McCorquodale and Dirk Sweigart and carry on what they built. (At least I know I’ll leave big shoes to fill. That’s one good thing from wearing 13/4E.)
Just a quick word of introduction. I have been racing for three years now but still walk 99% of the time. Delaware last year was my first half-marathon and next week will be my fourth! This fall I plan on re-joining the C25k group and start running races finally. I really appreciate PCVRC’s welcoming me even though I walk. It is great to see a running club bring all kinds of people in and give them support to start running.
As before please send in any race results you want highlighted (PR, first time, course record, etc.). This is the best way to make sure your results are included. I and others are watching Facebook and the usual race sites but it’s certainly possible to miss someone and we don’t want to do that. One of the beauties of this group is there are so many members with such varied race locations it’s hard to keep track of everyone’s activities.
