USATF Series Participants, Club Singlets, Donations
Club wins total of $800 in Mid-Atlantic USATF Road + Off-Road Series
If you've read recent E-Bulletins, you are aware that PCVRC placed third in the MA-USATF Road Series and second in the Off-Road Series.
Early in the year the Board decided to reward people who participated in the series at a certain level by providing some subsidy to club dues. The decision as to amount had to wait until we knew how well the club would do. Recently we found that PCVRC would receive $500 for its third place in the road series and $300 for second in the off-road series. The board has decided to waive the entire 2009 dues($25) for each individual or family that collectively had four entries in races from either series.
The board intends to continue giving this type of incentive each year, although the amount will depend on the club's winnings each year.
If you only joined USATF for one year, you are encouraged to rejoin soon. The application is available at: http://www.mausatf.org/.
Joining for four years at a time is the best value.

Perhaps, if your memberships has been waived, you are feeling a little guilty about having a free membership. Not to worry, we have suggestions to assuage your guilt!
Besides annual dues, other ways to support the club include:
- tax deductible donations (since we are a registered non-profit)

- invite non-members to join! The club is growing and we will have new PCVRC brochures available at the holiday party for you to share with others.

PCVRC Singlets
Message from Dean Coffin:
Woo-hooo, the new club gear has finally arrived. It was along process, but they look great. See photos below of me modeling the singlet. There were very few shorts ordered, but you can wear any black shorts /or whatever.
Our President has generously offered to distribute the goodies. If you are going to be at the Holiday Party next Wednesday, please bring checkbook and pick up gear then. If not, please make arrangements with Jerry or myself. Because I forgot to include a cost of shpping from the vendor, the price is $1 dollar higher than my original estimate. So it's $22 per each singlet.
We have extras available at almost every size, so if you want a second singlet that's cool. They will all be at the Holiday party.
