Moorestown 8K and Wissahickon Trail 10K Results
Congratulations to all of the Pike Creek Valley Running Club participants in the MA-USATF series events this past weekend. Club members are showing that persistence and working for each other pays off. By fielding complete teams for both the Moorestown 8K and the Wissahickon Trail 10K, the club has maintained its hold on second place in the Off-Road series and has moved into third place in the Road Series. Scheduling was difficult with both races occurring on Satuday morning. Dean Coffin and Rich Syzmanski particiapted in both, but started the second race, the Wissahickon Trail 17 minutes late because of the difficulty transitioning from Moorestown to the trail race. We urge MA-USATF to avoid these scheduling conflicts.

Deadwood-Mickelson Trail Marathon in South Dakota
Congratulations to Jack and Kelly Horowitz who ran the Deadwood-Mickelson Trail Marathon in South Dakota on Saturday. Jack ran 3:58:15 and Kelly ran 3:23:39. It clear that this is not a PR course. However, Kelly was fourth female overall and first in her age-group. This race was also the USA Trail Marathon championship, which required at different entry and fee in order to participate. Of the women listed, Kelly appears to be the second female of the group with only the overall female winner besting her in this category. If this is true, Kelly may have won a monetary prize for her efforts.
