John Schultz article, Tyler Arboretum 10K XC Run, Boston Send-off

In case anyone missed it, John Schultz was featured in last Wednesday's running column in an article entitled "At 75, 'young runner' isn't slowing down".
To read the complete article go to: News Journal. True to form, John ran the Brave the Race Half Marathon this past Saturday in 2:25:56. Ladies: There is a picture of "Bare-Chested John" online, available for purchase and suitable as a pin-up poster!
Tyler Arboretum 10K XC Run Results
PCVRC established a solid hold on fourth place in the MA-USATF Off Road Series the top five team members scoring 325+ points at the Tyler Arboretum 10K XC Run.
Josh Loren ran fifth overall in the race. Lorri Fencer joined USATF at the race to help the team.

The next event in the series will be the Triple Crown 10K on Saturday, April 26 at Carpenter Recreation Area of White Clay Creek S.P. on Rte. 896 outside of Newark.
This race is put on be our own club member John Mackenzie and benefits regional homeless shelters. This is our turf, so let's have a great attendance. Other clubs will have to do the traveling this time and PCVRC could move up in the standing if others don't field complete teams. Note that parking fees are now in effect at state parks.
